Legend of the Weave
But all is not lost. When the Weave broke, scattered threads were loosed that twined themselves across the world. Some wove into items and weapons of wonder. Some were stitched into the land, granting the environment power and madness. And others, miraculously, went into the spirits of the living. Spirits like yours.
Destined by the loose threads of the weave, these heroes must band together, bring every loose thread in concert, and use their power to drive back the alien, malevolent force that seeks to conquer a world without magic.
Content Warnings: Violence-wise, nothing more extreme than what you find in your standard monster manual. I'm open to character death and, if the players want it, torture, though that would probably be a fade-to-black situation.
Party Size: Three-to-five is the sweet spot.
Party Preferences:
Alignment: Good guys! Or, at most, non-disruptive neutral to evil guys with an intended redemption or improvement arc oriented towards good guys. It's a heroic, good-vs-evil campaign.
Other: Sociable people! The campaign will have character-centric parts interwoven with the main save-the-world focus. I love these parts. They are my favorite. That means that the characters should have or build towards friendships; the kind of bonds that would be interested in getting involved in another's backstory, or other deeply personal bit.
Duration: Hard to say, but not short! Six months minimum to several years. Depends on tagging speed and what feels right. That said, if you'd like a shorter involvement time without being part of the main squad, PM me and we'll work something out.
Speed: One tag every other day, on average. Of course if real life gets too hectic we can cut some slack, but daily tags are preferred.
Notes: Never done something like this, but I've DM'ed a couple dozen times IRL. Expect some bumps, but lots of fun too.
